Likir Monastery: A midst the Might Himalayas

The confluence of Zanskar and Indus rivers
On our way back from Likil Monastery, we came across this very quiet village. This village was affected drastically when the flash floods happened in 2010.

Then came the Magnetic hill. Look at the road coming towards you. Looks uphill, doesn't it! But go to the center, park your vehicle in neutral and watch the magic. The car will start rolling uphill towards you. Now that's the magic.

The Leh - Kargil - Srinagar Highway

Our first view of the Stok Kangri range. Our target destination for next few days.
The peak is actually hidden by the clouds.
